Gamestar Mechanic was developed through a unique collaboration between Gamelab and the
Games and Professional Practice Simulations (GAPPS) group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Funded as part of the MacArthur Foundation’s Digital Media and Learning Initiative the
project supports many 21st century skills and aims to give young people a platform to express their
ideas through the making and sharing of games.
